In March 2020, the teachers and students of Jiangtai Road Campus of Tsinghua High School spent a unique reading festival together。The school Youth League Committee Student Union, Chinese and English teachers of all grades planned a number of informative and interesting activities。The group leaders and class teachers of each grade patiently organized guidance, and the students read at home, actively created, and actively participated in various reading activities。With the joint efforts of teachers and students, the fourth Reading Festival of the Tailu Campus of Tsinghua High School was successfully concluded。

In order to encourage students to inherit the good style of reading, the Youth League Committee held the reading festival "will be a reader" activity。The campus radio station produced a special program of Reading festival "Readers - Recommended to read classics", inviting students to read together, feel classics, and listen to the voices from classics。Dong Wei, director of the Student Development Center, participated in the recitation. The teachers and students helped the front-line rebels with reading and touching!
In the course of the activity of "Paying tribute to the Contrarian · All people share this heart", the Organization Department of the Youth League Committee received nearly 70 works from all grades。Each work deeply touched the teachers and students, but also reflects the intentions of the students。
In this reading festival, the Student Union organized and carried out the reading activity of "reading endless love article", inviting students to recommend good books, share insights, and display students' works through the network platform to promote mutual learning among students。

The reading activity themed "Writing is enough to draw Epidemics" organized by the Junior Three English Group. Through reading and studying epidemics in history, students sorted out information and gave full play to their creativity. They made English presentations, drew mind maps, wrote film and television reviews and recorded their own anti-epidemic videos with lively writing。The students not only gained knowledge about COVID-19, but also gained a deeper understanding of historical epidemics。At the same time, the students also enrich the knowledge of English subjects, enhance the awareness of innovative thinking, exercise the ability of layout design, writing and painting, and improve their comprehensive quality of English subjects。The activities of the reading festival make the students more conscious about the action of disease prevention and control, the method of fighting the virus more scientific, the confidence of overcoming the epidemic is stronger, and the enthusiasm of learning English is fuller!

The English group organized and planned the reading activity of "Understand the Virus, Cherish Life", encouraging students to read English books, magazines, literature and news reports related to "infectious diseases", watch relevant movies and other video materials, and enhance their understanding of viruses and infectious diseases。Through this activity, the students learned more about the virus and how to better face the epidemic and make the fight against the "epidemic" more powerful。
The Chinese Group of Senior Two took the opportunity of reading the book festival to launch the "Poetry sea Swim" ancient poetry reading activity。Read hundreds of poems, lead the style of the ancients, feel the ancient cultural charm。Most of the students in each class actively participated in the ancient poetry reading activity in small groups and recorded videos to show the vitality of the young students during the war against the epidemic。This ancient poetry reading activity received 39 videos, hundreds of participants。
